Quality Dual Purpose for Haying or Grazing
Alfagraze 600 RR combines improved yield potential with a good disease resistance package for long stand life. This semi-dormant variety features tolerance to Roundup® herbicide for superior weed control.
Selected for Survival and Persistence
Selected for grazing tolerance under severe pressure, the surviving parent plants had the best root and crown health. The exposure to grazing animal traffic for three years helped create large, deep crowns. It also improved root and crown carbohydrate reserves for regrowth and winter survival.

Traffic Tested™ varieties are bred and selected for improved plant types with:
• Large deep-seated crowns • Fine stems
• Abundant leaf mass • Large roots to store energy
• Heavy plant weight

THIS PRODUCT IS AN EXCELLENT HIGH-PROTEIN HAY OR FORAGE. DORMANCY RATINGS OF DIFFERENT VARIETIES FOR WINTER HARDINESS AND ADAPTATION, WITH PROPER FERTILITY,PH AND WELL DRAINED SOILS ARE CRITICAL TO HIGH FORAGE YIELDS AND STAND LONGEVITY. THE ADAPTATION IS DEEP WELL -DRAINED LOAM TO CLAY LOAM SOIL WITH A PH OF 7 OR HIGHER. THE PLANTING TIME IN FALL IS FROM SEPT. - OCT. AND SPRING IS FEB. - MARCH, BUT FOR LESS SEVERE WEED PROBLEMS AND GENERALLY MORE FAVORABLE CLIMATIC CONDITIONS FOR SEEDLING ESTABLISHMENT FALL PLANTINGS ARE PREFERRED.
PLANTING RATE IS 25-30 BROADCAST, NEEDS TO BE PLANTED 1/4 TO 1/2 DEEP.
